Overview
In rural areas of developing countries where social welfare is not yet in place, this project assesses the homes of people with disabilities and their families, organizes local care meetings with stakeholders in education and health administration, accumulates cases of what can be done in the community and how it can be connected to resources, and collects local issues to lead to policy formulation.

While working as an emergency physician in the local community, I am able to actually visit people’s homes, grasp local needs, and communicate these to stakeholders, but I would like to utilize my own human resources and find a channel to reach out to communities that share my idea.

Details
We actually visited the homes of disabled people in rural areas of Bhutan, held a local care meeting on the topic of the most difficult families in the area, and developed policies based on the issue of excretion in the homes of disabled people, such as the city’s portable toilet rental business and the prefecture’s home assessment of disabled people.
